Garth Day Year Auctioneers is a locally registered firm, established in 2013, that offers debt management, repossession, auction, and private investigation services to financial and commercial institutions. Our main office is located on the 7th floor of the Devan Building in Nairobi’s Westlands area. This office serves as the call center and the administrative hub for the company.

Our primary focus is on debt management services, to maximize credit control for our clients. We are committed to delivering these services professionally and as quickly as possible. We manage various types of business-customer debts, including early debts, post-90 days debts, and even those that have been written off. Our approach is characterized by discretion and confidentiality, always showing respect and sensitivity to the culture of our clients and the individuals involved.

Our team includes skilled investigators and information sources who navigate the cultural nuances of their areas of expertise. They know how to find information and access it effectively. Our local asset tracing resources employ tactics such as researching public records, conducting surveillance, interviewing acquaintances of the subject, exploring financial sources, and even reviewing discarded materials. These methods are essential in any asset tracing exercise.

• Auction and Repossession
  We handle both public auctions and private treaty sales. Over the years, we have built a network of property buyers, which has contributed to our commendable success rate. This success is largely due to our professionalism in managing assignments and our vigorous marketing strategies.

Garth Day Year Auctioneers manages the valuation, repossession, and sale of both movable and immovable assets. This includes vehicles, equipment, and inventory, as well as real estate and fixed properties. We provide end-to-end support—from asset assessment to final sale—ensuring compliance, transparency, and maximum client returns.

• Investigations
  We also conduct private investigations as requested by our clients, as well as preliminary investigations for our internal use in debt collection (skip tracing). These investigations are primarily focused within the Mt. Kenya region, extending to Nakuru and Machakos. The main objective is to determine whether the debtor is alive, assess their financial status, confirm their employment, and gather any other relevant information as instructed.
